About the speaker
Jade was a freelance choreographer for the Royal Academy of Dance and Sadler’s Wells Theatre when she had a powerful Out of Body Experience (OBE). Afterwards she left a 12 year career in the arts to teach workshops in the practise for psychological & spiritual growth.
She is researching the Out of Body Experience (OBE) as part of her Msc in Transpersonal Psychology. Consciousness exploration has led her on a pilgrimage around India, undertake Shamanic retreat in Peru, explore buddhism in Bhutan and create professional ritual-dance theatre productions.
She receives guidance from Lama Yeshe Rinpoche (Tibetan Buddhist master), is mentored by author Graham Nicholl’s, has trained with the Mindfulness Association, International Association of Consciousness and the renowned Monroe Institute.
She holds a BA hons in Dance & Culture from Surrey University, a foundation degree in Dance Movement Psychotherapy from Roehampton University and is a member of the Science & Medical Network as well as A Winston Churchill Trust Fellow.
Jade believes this ancient practise can radically shift our state of consciousness, impacting perception and influencing the way we live our lives. She draws on personal experience, academic research and spiritual traditions offering a balanced view of this extraordinary phenomena.
She lived at the London Samye Dzong Buddhist Centre for five years and now lives near by with her husband: lucid dreaming teacher Charlie Morley.
