A series of shocks, bewildering events that don't fit into existing narratives, often precede major transitions, whether in life, politics, or civilization: something happens that calls into question what we thought was permanent, normal and real. 

Brexit was one such shock; others are sure to follow it as the old order falls apart. In this presentation, Charles will weave together the inner and outer dimensions of this process. Britain (and not only Britain) are entering what he calls a Space Between Stories. 

The old narratives have failed. Even those who cling tightly to them carry a secret doubt. Yet the new narratives have yet to form. Who are we? What is real? What is possible? Navigated with compassion, this is a fertile time to create oneself or one's country.
