Winter Light is a celebration of the start of the solar year,                        light and the rebirth of the sun.

Every mid December we at Alternatives hold a unique event to mark the time of the longest darkness and shortest light north of the Equator; we believe it is a wonderful time to celebrate the truly important things in life: family and home; and to look forward to a wonderful year to come!

This year we have decided to do something a little different and have creates a wonderful evening that will begin with a specially guided meditation by our Founder, Malcolm Stern, after which we will seek to enthrall you with the fantastic, Gospel Choir IDMC who have performed for Royalty, including a Spice Girl! They weave a cocktail of slamming beats, infectious grooves, mellow ballads, through to today’s praise and worship and traditional gospel styles. So not to be missed!

Other performers for the evening include the singer, songwriter Sarah Warwick who is a healer, teacher and conference energiser; and the highly energetic and amazing drummers of Africa Junction.
