Join 4 women for an International Women's Day themed evening
Description:

In honour of International Women’s day we are presenting a selection of powerful female speakers to discuss the theme for the 2017 - #BeBoldForChange.

Tonight we invite you to experience a selection of 15 minute presentations in this ‘TED Talk’ inspired event!

The speakers tonight are:

Felicity Buirski  -  Strategies for overcoming the war between the sexes.

The re-instatement of the Divine Feminine is such an important first step in healing the rift between the sexes. Unhappy disenfranchised women are likely to create unhappy children perpetuating the suffering of both men and women.

Women to men  - I think we need to talk. We may have been giving you mixed messages down the centuries.

We wanted you strong but we didn't want robots. We wanted provision but not cruelty. We wanted protection but not war. We wanted children but we didn't want Mother to be our only role.
We wanted a place to live but we didn't want you to keep on building. We like to be transported but we also like to breathe.

Calling the almighty, omniscient omnipotent invisible God. He in many religious systems, with no real inclusion of She unless she's a virgin has also possibly given some men the idea that they could equate those qualities with themselves to the detriment of their relationships with 'inferior' women. Ultimately deifying themselves until they die and using and degrading women, mistreating animals and plundering the earth whilst they live.

Felicity will be performing her song Warrior Woman

Felicity is a singer-songwriter of critical acclaim with a devoted following since the release of her first album Repairs & Alterations back in 1987. Renowned critic John Tobler called the album a little known masterpiece at the time and referred to Felicity as “The British Leonard Cohen”. The Financial Times reported that she had  “A voice of purifying power”.

Her life’s work is about personal transformation…Wayfarer…One Woman’s Journey from Illusion to Light in four parts.

Arabella Dorman  is a War artist, public Speaker & Fundraiser. She is the author of ‘Drawing Fire’ & ‘Before the Dawn - An Artist’s Journey through Afghanistan’.

Arabella is responsible for the art installation in the Church last year entitled 'Flight' (pictured below).  'Flight' was a overturned lifeboat, recovered from the coast of Lesbos along with life jackets, that hung above the nave of St James's Church for a few weeks, more than a work of art and more that just a political statement. Jonathan Jones at The Guardian called it "a heartfelt and urgent work of art..."

Join Arabella as she discusses her work as a war artist and activist.

Alexandra Pope  Women come coded with a spiritual process and the key to awakening and realising that inner power lies in the magic of your menstrual cycle. In this talk Alexandra will introduce you the foundational spiritual practice of menstrual cycle awareness; how this simple act is both a sure line to yourself and finding your full authority, and gloriously ecstatic-making, opening you to the most blissful, visionary, holy places without effort. As you bring consciousness to bear on your cycle, you awaken new forms of intelligence and knowing, clear the channel to your inner oracle and awaken the DNA of your soul, your Wild Power.

Claire Chidley is a leading creative thinker, teacher, author, coach and an international public speaker and facilitator.

Claire talks about her theory of Energy Intelligence and how it can help us improve our resilience in times of uncertainty and change. As this year's theme for International Women's Day is #BeBoldForChange, Claire shows you how you can think differently through being Energy Intelligent to take ground-breaking action in your home and work life to realise your ambitions and goals.
