The speakers tonight are:

Marian Partington author of If You Sit Very Still, will talk about her inner journey towards becoming for-giving in response to the complex, traumatic loss of her sister Lucy Partington who was missing for twenty years. In 1994 it was discovered that she had been abducted and murdered by Frederick and Rosemary West. Marian works with the Forgiveness Project in prisons and schools.

Kenny Mammarella-D'Cruz was called "The Man Whisperer" by Newsweek because, not only does he help men achieve their life, relationship and career goals, he also helps men to be more authentically and powerfully who they truly are. As one of the UK’s leading men’s personal development consultants, Kenny runs workshops and sees individuals and couples for private consultations and has been running men’s groups in London for 14 years. Kenny was traumatised at the age of seven when his family had to flee certain death at the hands of the brutal dictator Idi Amin and were resettled as refugees in rural Wales via refugee camps. As a result of post-traumatic stress syndrome, Kenny developed several mental health issues, including obsessive-compulsive disorder, Tourette's syndrome with uncontrollable tics and grunts, body dysmorphia and depression with intrusive and suicidal thoughts. Thankfully that’s all behind him now. When asked how he turned it all around, he’s fond of saying that he sat with the shadows that owned him, unlearned the untruths and turned that energy into the fuel to walk his path and live his purpose.

Kenny’s talk is tonight is titled “Man-Up! ...and talk about it!”. It’s about how, whether you’re trying to overcome a mental health issue, or whether you’re just trying to become a more authentic and powerful man, having the courage to talk about what’s really going on in your life is the key to set you free.

Natasha Laing whose father was the well-known psychiatrist R.D. Laing, was initially diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009. The cancer then ‘exploded’ in 2012, spreading everywhere in her body. She’ll be talking about her extraordinary journey of healing.

Damian Mark Smyth is a Peak Performance Expert, TEDx Speaker, Best-Selling Author, Mindset & Business Consultant. He will be speaking about his new concept - The World Peace Equation.
