Description:
Ayurveda knows that the farther we remove ourselves from nature – both the natural world around us, and of the natural rhythms, cycles and needs of our own bodies – the less well we become. Sattva, which means 'consciousness' in Sanskrit, is the essence of a simple, good, peaceful life, lived well. Sattva equates to peace, positivity, unity, harmony, clarity and gentleness.

Sattva provides us with a route back to a spirit-led existence, and choices rooted in the heart over the mind. Sattva is a natural primal energy – it abounds all around us, in the sun and moon, in the sea and sky – but often, we are too busy, depleted or imbalanced to enjoy or absorb it.

In this talk, Eminé Kali Rushton will discuss ten simple ways in which we can step off the hamster wheel of modern life, and root ourselves ever more consciously in nature & Sattva – from the food that we eat to the hobbies we choose.
