- How to harness the mind-body connection for health and wellness -
Description:

Many people still think that the placebo effect is 'all in the mind', that people don't really get better, instead they just 'think' they're getting better. In actual fact, belief causes real physical changes in the brain consistent with what the person believes.

In this talk, David will explain discuss how belief impacts the body and how powerfully the mind can exert an effect on the body. He will also discuss how mindfulness impacts the brain, how emotions impact the arteries and the immune system, even how the brain doesn't distinguish real from imaginary, such that the brain can process what we imagine as if it is real.

David will explain how to harness the mind-body connection for health and wellness and also share practical strategies for using visualisation to harness the mind-body connection for health and wellness, based upon successful strategies used by people who recovered from injury, illness, and disease.

The first copies of David's new book The Little Book of Kindness: Connect with others, be happier, transform your life will be available at the event, come along to pick one up and get it signed!
