Module 1: Saturday 5 Sept, 2.5 hours , 4pm BST
Module 2: Individual online consultation anytime between 5 Sept and 18 Sept 2020. You will be sent details in late August of how to book your personal online session.
Module 3: Saturday 19 Sept, 2.5 hours , 4pm BST
Peter teaches that brain function can change, therefore eyesight and vision are flexible and can follow the changes of the brain. The Eyebody Method coordinates physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of seeing. Glasses or surgery address the symptoms, not the causes of visual dysfunction.
During 3 modules you will learn how to begin to replace these with:
• visual and mental clarity;
• strain free reading and computer use;
• improved posture, coordination and well-being; and
• increased attention and presence.
This interactive workshop explores the integration of vision, eyesight, posture, movement, relaxation, imagination and brain function. It can help you let go of the habit of wearing glasses or contact lenses. Central to the method is the understanding that eyesight and vision are flexible and can be changed.
Peter will explain how the Eyebody Method can be beneficial in addressing many vision problems such as:
• myopia (short-sighted),
• presbyopia (middle-age vision),
• hypermetropia (far-sighted),
• macula degeneration, and
Eyebody is not just for people with vision issues though, people with good eyesight can benefit greatly too.
Positive effects of participating can include improvements in:
• neck and back pain,
• mental and emotional difficulties,
• asthma and fatigue, to name a few.
The online introductory Eyebody course is built upon 3 modules and lead by Peter Grunwald. During the first module you will familiarise yourself with How holistic vision works, patterns of dysfunctions such as in myopia, presbyopia and many other symptoms of seeing and the notion of clarity vs mental focus. The second module is an online personal consultation where you are matched with an experienced Eyebody student or consultant relating your personal story and circumstances and discovering the notion of focus and presence. In the 3rd. module Peter will share some practices that you can continue at home and practice on your own, whatever your visual challenge.
These will get you started on the path of retraining your vision, so that we can begin to undo the tensions and habits that have accumulated over the years in our visual system.
