Description:

“Dream Yoga is the practice of transforming your dream experience into enlightened experience.”
- Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche

Everyone dreams. Everyone needs to sleep. But most of the time we lack awareness during our sleep
and we get completely lost in the experience of our dreams. Our dreams can be confusing or fearful.
The practice of Dream Yoga involves methods for making our dreams useful and meaningful so that our
dream experiences do not bring confusion or fear and instead bring enlightened experience.

The instructions on Dream Yoga come from The Tibetan Book of the Dead, Guru Rinpoche
Padmasambhava’s famous teachings that provide profound guidance on important phases in our lives
known as bardos: the waking state, meditating, dreaming, dying, and the after-death experience.

During this workshop Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche, an expert on The Tibetan Book of the Dead, will draw
on these profound teachings to elucidate the dream state and provide instructions on the practice
of Dream Yoga.

Rinpoche will teach us how to achieve lucid dreaming by recognizing a dream is a dream, how to
transform difficult experiences and fearful dreams into bliss, how to maintain pure awareness
meditation by abiding in naturally present luminosity during our dreams, and how to liberate all
dream experiences by dissolving them into enlightened experience. Rinpoche will also explain how to
transition from dreaming to daytime experience.

These techniques allow us to bring our dream experiences under our control and turn our dreams
into extraordinary experiences and opportunities to transform our lives.
