Description:

We’re born into this world as pure self / Atman / consciousness, with no sense of separation, no distinction between you and I. As we embark upon our life journey, and the ego starts to shape our identity, we find ourselves in a dual reality, separate from all around us. Rather than experiencing this magnificent existence as a joyful extension of the Self, we are mired in the pervasive belief of separation, that me and the world around me are two very different things. Yet, it is in this state of pure self / Atman / consciousness – glimpsed occasionally during meditation or in moments of extraordinary natural beauty – that we feel most at home, most content, most connected.

In this kundalini yoga workshop, we practice physical kriyas (movements), mantras (chanting), meditation and pranayama (breathwork) to find our way home to our Self. Through our practice today, we are guided to a direct experience of our true essence, our infinity, and we realise that this is who we are, and have been all along. This workshop is for complete beginners and advanced kundalini yoga practitioners alike. Please wear clothes suitable for movement, and bring a yoga mat, a meditation cushion and a shawl to cover up for relaxation. You may find some of the practices challenging, but always worth your best efforts.
